With EquipRite, each piece of equipment is followed from the first request until it is disbanded, across the company’s global business units.
Oceaneering runs one of the world’s most complex subsea equipment fleets. Its business units around the world now share a single view of that equipment inside Oracle Cloud.

Equipment sat in parent and child structures spread over several global business units.
No system followed a piece of equipment from request through to demobilization.
Costs were worked out by hand and were not linked to depreciation, maintenance or how the equipment was being used.
Inspections and quality checks were done outside the ERP, so nothing was recorded there.

EquipRite is Rite’s equipment lifecycle application for Oracle Cloud Projects. Oceaneering uses it to see where equipment is, what it costs and whether it has been inspected.
Each business unit can see what equipment is available, where it is and what state it is in.
Costs are calculated automatically, depending on whether equipment is working, idle or in maintenance.
Check-out and check-in inspections are done digitally, with quality parameters and photos.
Every asset can be seen from start to finish, from parent ROVs down to their child components. Business units no longer work from separate pictures of the fleet.

Teams work from current status and location data, which has replaced manual spreadsheets.
Inspection records include photos and are linked directly to Oracle ERP, so there is now an audit trail.

Brings project-based procurement planning, execution and expediting into one screen. It uses the same Oracle PPM and Inventory integration approach as EquipRite.
Extracts data from Oracle SaaS and syncs it to any data warehouse, so every business unit reports from the same reconciled data.
