Rite migrated 17,000 projects and 1 million customer entities from Sage and Salesforce, and automated AIA retention billing inside Oracle Cloud.
Summit Companies is a national leader in fire protection and life safety, and it grows by acquisition. It needed its Sage and Salesforce data in Oracle Fusion without losing the billing history that its long-running contracts depend on.

Rite Software came in during a critical phase of our Oracle Cloud implementation and completely turned the project around. Their subject matter expertise, agility, and deep understanding of the Oracle Cloud ecosystem made an immediate impact. They are a trusted extension of our internal team, leading multiple initiatives and delivering consistent, measurable value. Their ability to combine strong implementation experience with proprietary tools and automation has truly set them apart.
Data sat in Sage on MSSQL and in Salesforce. That meant two schemas and two APIs feeding one target.
Earlier acquisitions had left inconsistent structures, orphaned records and gaps in master data.
Projects run three to four years. AIA G702 billing needs cumulative retention, so open receivables alone were not enough.
There was no time for wasted load cycles, so the data had to be validated before every load.
The plan in place before Rite joined was to load invoices straight into receivables. That would have made retention impossible to calculate per contract, and the G702 documents would have been wrong.

Rite used ConvertRite to bring both systems into Oracle Fusion. For billing, the team converted the history itself, so that Oracle could work out retention from real records.
ConvertRite connected to Sage and Salesforce through database connectors and staged the data.
Checks ran before every load, so problems were fixed in staging and no cloud refresh was needed.
Historical billing events went into Oracle Contracts, which then generated the invoices natively.
ConvertRite moved both legacy systems into Oracle Fusion. AIA Workbench then works from that history to calculate retention and produce the billing documents.
Summit went live with billing it could trust, and it now has a repeatable way to bring each new acquisition into Oracle.
to move 17,000 projects, 1 million customer entities and 200,000 open AR invoices from Sage and Salesforce into Oracle Fusion.

Billing to date, retention and G702 documents were accurate from the first day. No history had to be rebuilt.
orphaned records between Salesforce and Oracle, which now work as one system of record.
